So, now it is time to get to work. Bringing the MotoSoul concept to life will take plenty of that! It will also mean putting together the right team, making good decisions, and doing all of this while having fun doing it – The MotoSoul Way!!
MotoSoul is a grassroots, organically created idea that is growing and changing as any good business idea should. The right people are attracted to it and others are scared by it. Yes, it is a BIG IDEA! It’s not creating a new airline company – or curing cancer, but it takes time, money, and energy to make this come to life.
Fortunately, the motorbike community is filled with passionate people that want to see things like this happen. My Father decided he wanted to ride trials courses with his riding buddies in Michigan. This idea started an entire motorcycle event calendar that encompassed 2 countries and several states, hundreds of riders and a whole lot of lifetime memories for everyone who participated. He followed his heart and his passion and it came to life!
So, what is MotoSoul going to be when it is done? First of all, it will probably never be “done.” A successful business evolves and grows as the market changes and the customer’s needs change. But for now anyway, MotoSoul will be a destination resort for riding enthusiasts. It will be a place for the art of Motorbikes and the place itself will be a work of art.
We are starting out by choosing a historical property that is filled with romance and passion. What does this have to do with motorbikes – EVERYTHING! If you see a riders face when they pull off their helmet, you see the same face that follows passion. Whether after a short ride to the corner pub for a burger or a long ride through the alps for the day, on a road or a race course, the feeling and the joy are the same.
MotoSoul is about bringing people that are passionate about Motorbikes together. Creating a home. A place where we can gather to share stories, inspire each other, and talk about what fires us up! The world traveler can call it home. We will make a place for them, as long as they want to stay. MotoSoul is about community – working together –contributing –giving – and receiving.
This little idea, which started as “Bikers Paradise” is gaining steam and the groundswell has begun. I need people who are passionate about riding, who want to do something in the industry, and who are willing to take the big risk to come and join me. I am not a Hotel Manager, but I am sure there is one out there who is passionate about riding. I am not a Chef or Restauranteur, but I know there are many who like motorcycles in this big world. I know how to create really amazing and cool event ideas, but it takes many hands and bodies to pull these off and I know there are many people out there who can help that are riders. I am not a Builder, but I know there are builders and craftsman that are motorbike enthusiasts who could help with the reconstruction.
So, I have said what I am not, but here is what I am. A lifelong entrepreneur and businessperson that is passionate about riding and creating a very special place for riders. A Mom who wants to teach her children they can do anything they dream up – by her actions, not her words. A Leader who can create the vision and inspire others to all work towards the same goals. A builder of Community, who has proven this many times over the years, and looks forward to being part of and enjoying the Community we will build at MotoSoul.
